Daily Shift: Be 100% Here

Ever had a conversation with someone and gotten so caught up in your own thinking that you didn't hear a thing the other person said? Do you ever get lost because you're so into the song on the radio that you totally blipped out on your next turn? These kinds of experiences are everyday occurrences, right? They are for the overburdened mind.

What if  you pulled your focus back HERE  when you felt a mental meandering coming on?

This isn't as hard as it seems, even though at first it might feel like you're trying to rein in a team of wild horses. Be gentle with yourself. For most of us it takes regular and consistent practice, a mere 5-10 minutes a day, to build the attention muscles. They're what will help you see a new world.

Consider this also… YOUR ‘be here now' can look and feel different than anyone else's, though it may share similar qualities. Your ability to BE fully present is your own. Notice how it feels.

What are the sensations that occur in your body?

What are the thoughts, if any, that soar across the inner vision of your mind?

What things are you lead to speak, write, share, do?

Who are you when you are BEing?

These explorations are key in mapping out your own inner terrain. In this you are sovereign. Others can certainly be your companion on the adventure, but you make your own path. It's the only way to shift your experience and create real transformation in your world.

Navigating your BIG Shifts with presence are what create rock solid certainty, and an experience of ease and grace, amid massive change no matter what the challenge. Daily Shift: Laugh More

You may think you have this one down, but I'll guarantee at some point during your BIG Shift you'll be tempted to slip into seriousness.

When you are seeking ‘the truth,' or trying to figure out which is the best path to take, or who to listen to, it can all get very deep and dark very quickly. It is a slippery slope, my friends. This is a path of polarity. It will bind you to the dense world of cause and effect, the mundane meanderings of one who is lost in the fog of surface reality. Do not follow this false path.

Laughter is one of the secret tools used by gurus, masters and enlightened teachers.  It frees your Essence. It opens you up on every frequency – your body, your mind, your spirit. Inspiration and insights are more likely to occur when you are open and free.

BIG Shifts can seem like serious business, and I'm not down playing it. However, you'll be better served by seeing them as opportunities to something new in your world. There have been countless studies done on the effect of laughter on the body for serious illness. Lightening up is a path that will lead you through your BIG Shifts with clarity and confidence.

Daily Shift: Pay Attention to Routine Activities

The wonder in your world lies undiscovered. Why? Because most of the time it escapes your attention. So much of your energy is taken by the ‘must to' and ‘have to' that you don't notice what already IS.

Today pay close attention to your everyday, routine activities:

… close your eyes and notice the feel of the water against your skin as you shower

… notice the feel of the air against your skin when you step outside

… fully listen to the words another is speaking and dismiss the inner dialogue that ensues

Paying close attention to everyday activities will tune you into a totally different realm of existence. There is wonder and magic all around you. Pay attention and it's yours.
